Group Health

A group health insurance plan is a key component of many employee benefits packages that employers provide for employees.

The majority of Americans have group health insurance coverage through their employer or the employer of a family member. One of the advantages for employees in a group health plan is the contribution most employers make toward the cost of the health coverage premium – in many cases, employers pay one-half or more of the monthly premium for an employee.

Group Life & Disability

Group life insurance is offered by an employer or large-scale entity (i.e. association or labor organization) to its workers or members. Group life insurance is typically offered as a piece of a larger employer or membership benefit package.

By purchasing coverage through a provider on a “wholesale” basis for its members, the coverage costs each individual worker/member much less than if they had to purchase an individual policy. Those receiving coverage may not have to pay anything “out of pocket” for policy benefits or they may elect to have their portion of the premium payment deducted from their paycheck.

Voluntary Life & Disability

Voluntary life insurance is a financial protection plan that provides a beneficiary with cash in the event that the policyholder dies. Voluntary life insurance is an optional benefit offered by employers, where an employee pays a monthly premium in return for cash paid to beneficiaries upon death. The premiums, which are based on age and the amount of insurance purchased, may be less expensive than individual life insurance premiums because of an employee group discount.

Voluntary Dental

Voluntary Dental is a great way to provide your employees with easy access to dental care coverage. As implied by the name, the plan is entirely voluntary, meaning that your employees decide whether or not they want to participate. And because the program is voluntary, there are no participation or contribution requirements.

Self-Funded Health Plans

Self-funded health care also known as Administrative Services Only (ASO) is a self-insurance arrangement whereby an employer provides health or disability benefits to employees with its own funds. In self-funded health care, the employer assumes the direct risk for payment of the claims for benefits.
